Pro adds

Pasting in order stays free, with up to 500 copies, same as Pro. Pro is for what you would rather not do by hand.

In the free version, each Pro command shows a lock. Click one and a card says what it would do, and its price. Nothing runs.

What Pro does, one by one.

The pictures and clips below redraw PasteHop's real screens and words, with made-up sample values.

Fill Forward…

Your copies fill the form, field after field: Across. PasteHop presses Tab for you, and stops at any key or click.

In Numbers and Excel, it can also go Down a column or fill a Grid, in a single paste. Everywhere else, it goes Across.

A Numbers sheet named Interviews: two rows filled with names, dates and times. The PasteHop bar reads: 6 filled forward, in one paste.
Six cells filled in one paste.

Destination Mode…

Draw a box around a form. PasteHop shows on the form what will go in each field, before anything is filled. Then you press Fill.

It fills text fields only, up to 20 at once, never a password field, and it never presses Save.

A New contact form with numbered fields. The bar reads: Filling 2 of 3. The form has the keyboard. Any key or click stops after this field.
Filling 2 of 3. Any key or click stops it.

Capture…

Drag once over text on screen: a name, an email, a link. Each piece becomes a copy, in the order it is read, ready to paste.

Text in a picture is read on your Mac. Nothing is saved or sent.

The PasteHop bar reads: 3 values captured. They wait in the Flow, in the order they are read. Undo.
Three values, captured in one drag.

Paste All, and Paste All As…

One click pastes everything you copied, each on its own line. Or choose the shape: one per line, one row, with commas, or as Name=Value pairs.

A note in Notes with the name, the email and the website on three lines. The bar reads: All 3 pasted.
Paste All, then Paste All As… with commas.
A note in Notes with the name, the email and the website on one line, separated by commas.
Paste All As…, with commas.

Paste What Fits

In the Email field, it pastes the email, even when the name would be pasted next.

Then Tab

A Pro setting, Press Tab after each paste: PasteHop presses Tab, so your next ⌘V lands in the next field. The bar then says Then Tab.

Also in Pro.

Records
Copy a table and say yes to keeping its rows as records. Each ⌘V then pastes the next field, row after row, and the bar names the field.
Lines kept as separate copies
Copy three lines at once and the bar asks to keep them as three copies. Yes is ⌥⌘↩. Doing nothing means no.
Copy All as One Row
Puts all your waiting copies on the clipboard as a single row, to paste in one go. Your copies still wait.

Pro never goes further than you ask.

You stay in charge of every field, and every key stops it.

  • It fills nothing before you press Fill.

Destination Mode first shows, on the form, what will go in each field. During a fill, any key or click stops it.

  • It reads a window only when you ask.

Destination Mode reads the window's fields, Capture reads its text, and a sign shows for as long as it does.

  • A picture read by Capture stays on your Mac.

Reading the text in a picture needs Screen & System Audio Recording, and macOS asks you first. Nothing is saved or sent.

Free does it with you. Pro does it for you.

Everything you do by hand is free: up to 500 copies, same as Pro, and no time limit.

Questions about Pro.

Back to the price

Is there a trial of Pro?

No. The free version has no time limit, so you can judge PasteHop for as long as you like before you pay.

How will I pay, and how do I unlock Pro?

Payment goes through Polar, the service that sells PasteHop. You receive a license key to enter in PasteHop.

Does Pro send anything from my Mac?

Only the license key. PasteHop sends it to Polar to check it: when you enter it, each time the app starts, and once a day while it runs. No clipboard content is included. The privacy page says the rest.

Can Pro fill a row in Excel or Numbers?

Yes. In Numbers and Excel, Fill Forward… goes Across a row, Down a column or fills a Grid, in a single paste. Everywhere else, including a spreadsheet opened in a browser, it goes Across, field after field.
